Dealer Registration in central excise

Today we are discussing on the Dealer Registration for central excise, there are three type of registration in central excise (Registration for manufacturer, Registration for dealer and importer). Dealer registration is required if a person is doing trading of excisable goods purchasing goods from one person and sale to another person.

Type of Dealer in central excise

There are two type of dealer in central excise

First stage dealer

A person purchasing the goods from the Manufacturer and sale to the consumer

Second stage dealer

A person purchasing the goods from the First stage dealer and sale to the consumer

Process of Dealer registration in central Excise

Go to https://www.aces.gov.in/REGASE/ui/jsp/common/registerWithACES.do

First Step – Fill all the required information to login to your accounts

User name – Please keep the user name in writing it will be required for filing the return or login to the central excise.

Email-id – mention the correct email id, a new activation link you will receive on that mail id.

Name of the unit – enter the company/firm name

Designation– enters the correct designation proprietor in case of Proprietorship Director in case of company and partner in case of firm and LLP.

First name – In this enter the name of the applicant who will make signature on all the documents.

Second Step –

After completing the information click on submit buttons, you will received the password on the E-mail id from the sender acesadmin@icegate.gov.in

Third step –

login accounts after entering the user name and password and give the new password as per your choice in first login.

Fourth step –

After that click on REG buttons and fill the A1 and declarant form. For DEALERS OF YARNS AND FABRICS fill the form A2.

Fill the complete form by click on next buttons and finally clicks on submit buttons and take the print out of excise acknowledgment

Excise officer will visit at your place and verify the documents – Keep ready 2 sets, self attested, original required for verification while they came to our office (Documents required is given below)

 

Time limit of getting Dealer Registration in central excise

Excise Registration certificate will be issued within 2 days of filing the online application

Where to get Dealer Registration Certificate in central excise

Login to Aces.gov.in with you userid and password and click on View RC and take the print of that RC. After budget 2015 online issued Rc is a valid RC no need to visit excise office and take the signature of that the department on RC .

Circular No. 1032/20/2016-CX

As per the Circular no 1032/20/2016 Now in Excise dealer need not to take the two separate registration for local purchase and import purchase.  One registration is valid for the dealer and importer registration also one return is valid for dealer and importer return.

    I would like to know what is the procedure if registered office is a house and the office/gwarehouse is in a different location. what is the procedure to be followed. Excise registration to be done for office
